Teacher Jack frequented Hooters Beijing during his lunchbreak from his school. While his kindergarteners were taking a two hour nap, Teacher Jack would eat lunch at Hooters and drink draft beer. He found that he was the only customer during that early time and it was also the time when Hooters girls rehearsed their dancing. Just by watching, Teacher Jack could instantly tell the girls what they were doing wrong or right. Eventually, the girls were asking Teacher Jack for advice. Teacher Jack agreed to help them with their choreography for an exchange of free draft beer. Hooters management agreed and the girls were happy to work with Jack because they knew him from the late hours at night as the guy who would buy them all shots.

The clever Teacher Jack used his employment at Hooters Beijing as an opportunity to approach young girls at the mall and offer them employment at Hooters. “I told the girls that I could get them a job easily beacuse I worked there but first they had to try on the uniform in a hotel room and learn a few dance steps.”- Teacher Jack

Teacher Jack assisted in the choreograpy, but also taught new girls how to wear their uniforms. He auditioned new girls in hotel rooms (unofficially) and if they passed, he would notify Hoooters management about a possible new employee. To be clear, his auditions were not approved by Hooters. Teacher Jack was very happy for a few years at Hoooters Beijing until a manager came from the USA. She was appalled to see the girls drinking on the job and sitting on Teacher Jack’s lap. She was also angry to see Teacher Jack giving the girls a foot massage. She had come directly from Hooters USA with her book of coorporate rules. She hated Teacher Jack. Pilot Mike Smith is Teacher Jack’s American ex-military friend (above) and he is losing to the sweet girls of Hooters Beijing.
Teacher Jack argued with the new manager several times with no success. He believed that Hooters Beijing did not have to follow the same rules as Hooters USA and that she was killing the business. Regular customers that filled the bar on late nights stop coming because the girls could no longer drink with them and the girls who were not busy at the moment had to stand at a dancing pole and were forbidden to converse with customers. Hooters Beijing then closed proving Teacher Jack to be correct. ” I dream of opening my own Hooters someday with no rules,”- Teacher Jack
Teacher Jack also became very good at painting the toes of Hooters Beijing girls. At first, he did it in the office, however, he later found that it was more convenient to do it in the managers car so that the air would dry their toes faster. Orange and white or black were the three colors that matched their uniforms.
